i finally got around to installing tiger yesterday, even though the cd has been staring at me for months. so, if you’re using tiger too, what are your favourite widgets? apple says there are over 700 available, and i don’t particularly feel like wading through all of them. so if you have downloaded and are enjoying any especially interesting widgets, lemme know. tak.
also, i must say that mail is so much uglier in tiger. i guess the biggest change that bothers me is that apple put the toolbar icons on buttons. what is the purpose of the buttons? no purpose at all. i really enjoyed the icons in mail while i was using panther, but now the buttons really distract from the icons. the icons are cute, distinct and large enough that they don’t need to be confined in stupid buttons. although maybe some people are too dumb to realise that the icons were actually buttons; there are enough dumb people on this planet that i really wouldn’t be surprised.
