24 for 24
the 5th season of 24 doesn’t start until 2006. this made me sad until i found out that the new season will be starting on my birthday [8 january]!* not only that, but i will turning 24 next year, so i’ll be 24 for 24! yay! i feel special.
i used to wonder why people made such a fuss about 24. then i started watching it last season, and i became completely hooked. since watching season 4 on monday nights wasn’t enough, i caught up and watched seasons 1–3 during the rest of the week for a few months. i hate watching tv most of the time, but i love 24. jack bauer always knows what to do, and nothing will get in his way. i wish david palmer was a real person who could actually run for president. and, oh, tony… i love tony almeida; i am so incredibly jealous of michelle.
once you get hooked on 24, you too will become excited when you hear jack say, “the following takes place between 6am and 7am” or when you hear the ticking of the clock.
oh, and if you’re wondering what to get me for my birthday, i really want a set of the ctu pint glasses. yes, they’re nerdy, but awesome as well.
so don’t forget: 4-hour season 5 premiere on sunday, 8 january and monday, 9 january at 8/7c.
*update: fox has pushed back the season premiere 1 week. i’m sad that i won’t be turning 24 on the day 24 starts, but i will still at least be 24 for 24. so now the 4-hour season premiere is sunday, 15 january and monday, 16 january at 8/7c.
