happy [kinda] 30th birthday, digital cameras

in 1975 a young electrical engineer at kodak named steven sasson created the 1st prototype for the digital camera. his invention was an “8-pound toaster-size contraption, which captured a black-and-white image on a digital cassette tape at a resolution of 0.01 megapixels.” that sounds like nothing to us, but keep in mind that was thirty years ago. check out the ap article to learn more.
