cracking toast, gromit!

tonight i saw wallace & gromit’s 1st full-length film, the curse of the were-rabbit. thankfully the film lived up to my expectations, and i was not let down because i was incredibly excited about the release of this film.

wallace & gromit’s claymation feature film took 5 years to make and has come out a decade after 3 30-minute films: a grand day out (1989), the wrong trousers (1993), and a close shave (1995). [the latter 2 both won oscars].

wallace and gromit were created by nick park, who is from preston. in a close shave there is an evil robot dog named preston, but i didn’t remember about that until months after i named my preston.

anyhoo, the curse of the were-rabbit was awesome. i adored the animation, the humour, the cleverness of it all. i’m still amazed at how great the stop motion animation is. when gromit knits [which is so adorable], i can’t believe how great his yarn and movements look.

so go see wallace and gromit in the curse of the were-rabbit. you will not be disappointed.
