national breast cancer awareness month
october is national breast cancer awareness month. my mom’s mother died from breast cancer before i was born, so promoting breast cancer awareness is important to me. plus paul mccartney’s 1st wife, linda, died from breast cancer in 1998. if you’re a woman and you ever notice anything abnormal or are concerned about anything, make sure to go to your doctor. also, if you’re a woman over 40, you definitely need to have a mammogram every year, especially if you have a family history of breast cancer. early detection significantly increases your chance of surviving from breast cancer.
