north georgia state fair

yesterday i went to the north georgia state fair. this fair wasn’t nearly as awesome as the washington county fair i went to outside of pittsburgh last summer. but how could any fair compete with the washington county fair when it has a school bus demolition derby?

okra
gigantic okra

the best part of the north georgia fair would have to be the non-commercial exhibits, which featured flowers, canned goods, handicrafts, creative arts, vegetables and more. the quality of the work was a wide range: from really nice knitwork to really horrible photography. but these 2 images i’ve included [above & below] would have to be of the best exhibits at the whole fair.

legolas
yes, that is indeed a cross-stitched legolas.
