wallace & gromit archive destroyed in fire

i’m very sad to announce that the bristol warehouse belonging to aardman animations [animation firm responsible for wallace & gromit] was mostly destroyed in a fire today. wallace and gromit storyboards, sets and artwork were all lost in the fire. thankfully the original films and negatives are kept elsewhere, so those—plus the sets from the new feature film, nick park’s oscars, and the rocket from a grand day out—were saved.
