the museum of science & industry

towards the end of my visit i went to the museum of science & industry, which is composed of various 19th century buildings, such as a warehouse, passenger station and transit shed. i only had time to visit the air & space hall; this building housed aircraft designed in the manchester region, including a 1954 avro shackleton, which could fly for up to 24 hours!

the upper level of the air & space hall had more general science exhibits, 1 of which was an exhibit about the big bang. there was a mural depicting the giant explosion, and of course i noticed this part:
