mouse retaliation

mikey sent me this article about a mouse getting revenge on a guy who tried to kill the little mousie. the man—who was burning a pile of leaves in his backyard—found the mouse inside his house. he wanted to get rid of the mouse, so he decided to throw the mouse into the pile of burning leaves! well, the mouse apparently wasn’t about to die without a fight. the mouse caught fire and then ran back into the man’s house, and he burned the whole house down! thankfully the man wasn’t hurt, but everything in his home was destroyed. i personally don’t even kill bugs when i find them in my home; i catch them and release them outside. therefore, i would certainly never kill a cute little mouse, so i think this guy got what he deserved.

there is apparently some doubt as to whether it was a mouse or the wind that caused the man's house to burn down, but the man still supports his mouse story.
