SimTrain provides training in type-specific, full motion Cirrus simulators. Currently there are simulators located in Kennesaw, GA [RYY], Morristown, NJ [MMU], and Las Vegas [VGT]. Simulator training—on top of learning in an actual aircraft—is extremely beneficial because you can do things in the simulator that you cannot do in a real plane, such as cut the engine at 100 feet or deploy the full airplane parachute.
The visual style for the SimTrain prelaunch materials stems from the fact that flying is fun and gives pilots a sense of freedom, as pilots themselves have told me. Much of the marketing materials geared towards pilots are either extremely cluttered, boring and dry, or just downright ugly. As a new company, SimTrain really wanted to be noticed out of the crowd by differing in terms of the design of their print materials.
